Power Distribution Units or PDUs are designed to control the supply of power to racks and other equipment in high integrity locations such as computer rooms, data and communication centres. I&M have been at the forefront of PDU design and innovation since manufacturing some of the UK's first PDUs for businesses like IBM and ICL in the 1970s.
We now offer two distinct ranges of PDU;
smartPDU; unique to I&M, the smartPDU family of intelligent power distribution units monitors the consumption and power characteristics of each outgoing way. This data can be broadcast in a wide range of formats to the end user's Building Management System to help improve predictive fault monitoring, power management and usage control.
PDUs; our range of standard PDUs are designed to offer reliable and flexible distribution in applications where sophisticated power management is not required. Robust and with proven reliability, they are widely acknowledged as offering exceptional value.
